Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 November 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to the Let Me Solo IT desktop app, this website and your Let Me Solo IT account (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data the service handles.
Let Me Solo IT is a real-time AI call assistant. While it runs, it transcribes the audio of a call you are on (your microphone and the sound your computer plays, which includes the voices of the other participants), sends that text and any image you add to a language model, and shows you short hints. Depending on the speech-to-text engine you use, the call audio is transcribed on your computer or sent to a speech service, which may be our hosted speech service.
Who we are
The service is provided by Taras Hevlich, a sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Register (živnostenský rejstřík), trading as Let Me Solo IT. Your contract for the service is with him; "we" and "us" in these terms mean him.
- Identification number (IČO): 30209382
- Registered address: Rostislavova 1362/24, Nusle, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic
- Email: support@letmesoloit.com
- We are not a VAT payer (neplátce DPH), so our prices include no VAT.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, to use the service and to buy.
- You need an account with an email address and a password to buy a plan.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- With a plan that uses your own key (Own Key Monthly, Own Key Lifetime or All-Inclusive), an account can be linked to 2 computers at a time. With credits only (a Credit Pack), it can be linked to any number of computers. If you switch to such a plan with more computers linked, the 2 used most recently stay linked and the others are signed out. After you move the account to another computer, or unlink a computer, you have to wait 30 days before you can do so again.
You must tell everyone on the call
- Before a call is transcribed, tell every participant that an AI assistant is listening to the call and transcribing it.
- Where the law requires it, get their consent before you start. Many countries, and several US states, require the consent of all parties to record or transcribe a conversation; others require the consent of one party. Some workplaces, clients and platforms have their own rules on top of the law.
- If a participant objects, stop the app: quit it, or withdraw your consent in Settings → Advanced → Privacy, which stops transcription at once.
- Before your first call, the app asks you to confirm that you will tell everyone on the call. Nothing is captured before you do.
Acceptable use
- You decide where, when and how you use the app. You alone are responsible for complying with every law, contract and policy that applies to you and to the other participants, including recording, wiretapping, privacy and data protection laws, and the rules of exams, interviews or competitions.
- Using the app secretly, to deceive the other participants, or where its use is not allowed, is prohibited.
- Do not use the app on calls whose content you are not allowed to share with the model provider that processes it, or with the speech service that transcribes it (ours, or one you set up yourself).
Plans and billing
- Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.
- All sales are final. Except where the law requires a refund, we do not refund a purchase, in whole or in part: not unused credits and not the rest of a cancelled monthly plan's period. The one exception: if the same plan is paid twice within moments (for example, from two checkout pages), the second payment is refunded in full and that duplicate plan ends at once. This does not limit any right the law where you live gives you that cannot be waived.
- At checkout you confirm that you accept these terms. We keep the version you accepted with the purchase.
- Right of withdrawal. A consumer in the European Union normally has 14 days to withdraw from a contract made online. What you buy from us starts at once: a plan and its credits work as soon as the payment goes through. At checkout you therefore ask for the service to start at once and confirm that you understand you then lose your right to withdraw (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m); Czech Civil Code § 1837 l)). Where the law still lets you withdraw from a service that has already started, you pay for what was provided until you withdraw.
- Monthly plans (Own Key Monthly and All-Inclusive) are subscriptions that renew every month until you cancel. You cancel on the Plan page of your dashboard; the plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you can resume it until then.
- Own Key Lifetime is a one-time purchase that lasts for as long as we offer Let Me Solo IT and cannot be cancelled. Buying it sets every running monthly plan to end at the end of its paid period, with no refund for the rest of that period.
- Hosted-model use and hosted speech are paid in credits. Each answer of the hosted model uses credits by its size; the app's "Test hosted model" button uses exactly one credit. A request our server refuses, and an answer the model provider fails to start, cost nothing. Hosted speech uses one credit for every 10 seconds of audio: all the audio our server receives counts, with or without words, whether sent phrase by phrase or streamed; seconds under a full credit carry over to the next phrase. Nothing is charged twice: when a speaker changes language, the service hears the phrase again from the audio it already has, at no extra cost. If the app disconnects while streaming, all the audio our server received is charged; the audio it sends again when it reconnects at once is not charged twice. The All-Inclusive plan gives credits every paid month; unused ones end with the month. A Credit Pack is a one-time purchase of credits that last 180 days from the purchase, on their own or with any plan. Packs add up, and the month's credits are used before a pack's. Credits expire as described here unless the law where you live does not allow it. How many credits a plan or a pack gives is shown on the pricing section of our home page.
- If a renewal payment fails, you keep access while it is past due. If you dispute a payment with your card issuer, what it paid for is on hold until the dispute is decided: it comes back if the dispute ends in our favour, and ends for good, with its credits, if it does not. Time on hold is not added back. A monthly plan on hold still renews until you cancel it.
- Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing section of our home page.
Hosted models, hosted speech and your own provider
- On an Own Key plan (Own Key Monthly or Own Key Lifetime), the app sends your transcripts and images to the model provider you choose: with your own API key, or through a command-line tool you installed and signed in to yourself. That use is under your own agreement with that provider and its terms, usage limits and costs. Let Me Solo IT is not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers.
- With credits (All-Inclusive or a Credit Pack), the app sends the text of each question and any image you add to our server, which passes them to the model provider we use and returns the answer. We count the credits each answer uses.
- With hosted speech (credits on All-Inclusive or a Credit Pack), the app sends the call audio to our server, which passes it to the speech provider we use and returns the text. We count the seconds of audio received and the credits they use. The Privacy Policy explains where the call audio goes with each speech-to-text engine.
- AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it.
What the private overlay does and does not do
- On Windows and macOS the app's window is excluded from your own screen shares and recordings, so your notes and hints are not broadcast when you share your screen. On macOS a sharing or recording app can override this when it captures the whole display without window filtering (in Zoom's settings, under Share Screen → Advanced → Screen capture mode, the mode "Advanced capture without window filtering"); the default modes respect it. On Linux the window cannot be excluded and is visible like any other window.
- This is a privacy feature for your notes. It does not hide the assistant from the other participants, and it does not replace telling them.
No warranty and limits of liability
The service is provided as it is, without any warranty. The authors accept no liability for how it is used. Nothing in these terms removes a responsibility that the law places on you, or a right that the law gives you and that cannot be excluded.
Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time on your dashboard's Security page. Deleting it cancels your running Stripe subscriptions at once and removes your account, purchases, linked computer and usage records. An owned Own Key Lifetime, your Credit Packs and any unused credits end with the account and are not refunded. It cannot be undone.
- We may disable an account that breaks these terms. A disabled account can no longer sign in.
If we stop the service
- We tell you at least 60 days before we stop offering Let Me Solo IT, by email and on this website.
- Until it stops, your plan and your unused credits keep working. Credits left when it stops lapse, and are not refunded.
- Own Key Lifetime keeps working after that, without our server, through a final version of the desktop app that we provide before the service stops.
Law and disputes
- These terms, and every dispute about them or about the service, are governed by Czech law. The courts of Prague decide such disputes.
- If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim before the courts there.
- A consumer may also take a dispute with us to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz), which resolves consumer disputes out of court.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. When the consent text in the app changes materially, the app asks you to confirm it again.
Not legal advice
These terms explain how the service is meant to be used. They are not legal advice. If you are unsure whether you may transcribe a call, ask a lawyer who knows the laws that apply to you and to the other participants.
